With a history of 5600 years, Gaziantep is one of the oldest cities in the world; currently it is the largest city of Turkey’s Southeast Region and the 8th largest city in the whole of Turkey. The city’s population increases at the second fastest growing rate after Istanbul and is estimated to reach 3.000.000 by the year 2025. Gaziantep is a center of attraction in terms of internal migration, with approximately 17 million people living in two and a half hours distance from the city.
